Recently a new store opened here, specialising in selling health food in bulk. It sells grains, nuts, herbs and spices, oils, flours and various types of sweets. You can buy as much as you like from the containers or bring your own bottles for liquid things. I am saving so much money by being able to precisely buy what I need for the day or week. Nothing gets left-over for long or spoilt. If I feel like something sweet, I can just buy a handful of cashew nuts, three pieces of dried mango and a few chunks of organic chocolate for about $4 . Whereas if I had to buy it packaged I would have to pay a lot more and worry whether I will eat it all before it goes stale.I find this bulk sale rather good. What do you think?

I LOVE stores like this. Unfortunately, I don't have any nearby.

So for me, I only get to visit occasionally and use the store to stock up on some items (like pantry bulk items that store well) and to try a bunch of items that I might not otherwise have access to. For example, one I was at recently has a bunch of carob bites/chews, so I bought a few different varieties to try. I would never buy them otherwise because I know I often don't like that sort of thing. This way, I bought a couple of each and then found my favorites so I can go online and order the exact ones I like now.
