How often do you buy new gadgets? Do you buy new gadgets when your older ones are worn out or you are sorely in need of a gadget or whenever any thing new comes into the market and catches your fancy? I hardly buy on an impulse. I wait till I can use my gadgets no more before I buy a new one. I may seem tight fisted, but I hate throwing stuff into the dump and adding to the burden on the eco system I also hate not making good use of what I have. How about you?
I buy new gadgets when they tend to get old, or not working at all. An example would be my past headset where the mic was completely broken, and one of the sides didn't generate any sound. That was when I knew I needed to buy a new one.
I don't know. Last December, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Then last April, I bought an Asus Tablet for my girl. Then, just this June, I purchased a one terrabyte external hard disk drive. I don't know what I'll purchase next. Probably a new set of video game console but I'm not that sure.
When I have the money, even if I don't need a new gadget yet, I tend to buy whatever catches my fancy even if I have several items of the same kind already. I don't care if I don't get to use them yet, like right now I have 6 earphones that I bought on a whim, and I only use 1 at a time. I also buy a new item when an item looks dilapidated already even if it's still usable. So I guess that I'm the type that buys things whenever I want it and when I can afford it.
I actually don't buy new gadgets often. I am more of a person who just invests in a few good quality items and then I'm all set. I am a very loyal and happy apple user so this is something I really invested in and I don't regret a single penny. The only technology items I might buy are simple things like earphones or a stylus pen.
I don't buy new electronic gadgets often probably because I'm usually watching every penny and will get something else when I absolutely need to. The gadgets I most often get are either a cell phone or a laptop and even that will be pretty basic. I recently did some cell phone shopping and was a bit overwhelmed with buying a smart phone lol. I know I sound like I'm in the stone age but I could barely work the thing! So I opted to just get a little basic cell phone I could basically call from and not fuss with.
i go for a new once i get done with the old one not in use but in functionality .. as I'm looking for a new tab coz my previous one is a basic mobile phone which is wearing out and whatever the work the phone is doing are my extra efforts to make it to do so ..
