With a lot of websites offering cheaper deals on the same item you can get in their store with only the downside of waiting longer to receive it, would you prefer to buy from a website or go in store?

I generally buy things online if I can help it. My GPS was at least $20 cheaper that way and all I had to do was wait for it to get to me, which didn't matter because I ordered it a good month before the first trip I wanted to use it for.

I still have a few doubts when doing my shopping online. I preferably do my purchasing in-store. Though I sometimes find it a bit of a hassle (with the queues and all) but overall, I have more fun when purchasing in-store. I purchase online only for hard-to-find items.

I like both ways. Shopping online is often cheaper in more ways than one..no need to drive to a store, no waiting in queues, cheaper prices etc - it definitely has its benefits! However, I still enjoy the experience of shopping for clothing etc, like a girls day out shopping - but that is more about the experience. So, again...definitely both for different reasons.

It depends actually. If the product that I wanted is available in store and I have the perfect budget for it then I would choose to buy in store. I would only buy products online given that it is not available at our local store here or that the price difference is really big.

I prefer shopping online, especially now that December is here and the stores are just getting busier. I hate crowds and hate standing in line, so shopping online is definitely the way I go if I can. If a store has a shop online, pick up in store option, and the shipping charge is high, I do that. Usually the queue is shorter at a pickup or customer service desk than it is at the cash out.

I prefer shopping personally than shopping online, especially if I'm shopping for electronic items. After all, the nearest mall is just walking distance away from our house, so it's not much of a hassle if I go out of the house to buy some things. I would only shop online if the price was really a bargain, or if I can't find the item in any local store here in my country.

I try to only shop in physical stores for things that I need urgently (say, for example, that my only pair of shoes was ruined and I needed one for the day after). If it can wait, then I much rather buy it online. Not only can you get things cheaper that way, but you also have a lot more variety and your feet don't feel sore after you check as many stores as you want :p

We buy most of our electronics online. Most of the time we find that we save money, although you do have to count in the shipping cost. Sometimes we will go to a store and look at the item, touch the item, then come home and order it online because we will save money. If we are not saving money then we will just buy it at the store. We do a lot of research before we buy so by the time we go to the store to look at it we already know where we are going to buy it. If it's something we don't need to touch, try out, or see then we usually just buy it online.

I try to do as much online shopping as i can because it's usually cheaper. And there is always promotions and deals that are better than the ones in store. And most of the time you can get free shipping and it doesn't take very long for you to get what you order. I did all my christmas shopping online and got free shipping on just about all my items and they get here within a week the most two weeks. So i love doing my shopping online.

Most of my shopping tasks are now performed online. Why would I spend an additional $20 for the same item in store when I get it online for cheaper? Indeed, the only downfall is the time it takes and the shipping costs. Even then, however, it's still much, much cheaper. Check out Amazon, I can get a book for one cent (plus shipping) and the same book costs $40 in the store.
