I load my carbs 2 hours before my run everyday. Sometimes, due to time constraints, I load it earlier and I get more than 2 hours of interval. The thing is I don't load them just right before I run which I consider to be 2 hours. 3 hours are the ideal, but since I get hungry easily, 2 hours have just been fine. It provides me energy that I use for my running and other fitness training. After it, I try not to eat carbs anymore as I think that I won't be in need of that great and fast energy they provide. I pamper myself with protein-rich foods.
