This is the version of chop suey that uses American vegetables. The vegetable ingredients are broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus. The meat can be chicken or pork or a mixture. Also needed are half a head of garlic, 2 onions and 2 tablespoon of cooking oil and soy sauce for flavoring. Boil the pork for 10 minutes. In a separate pot, boil the chicken for 6 minutes. Chop the pork in desired size likewise with the chicken. Sautee the garlic and onions in cooking oil before adding the meat. Fry and stir for 2 minutes before adding the soy sauce. After 1 minute of stirring, add some of the stock from the pot. Let it boil for a minute before adding the chopped vegetables. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes depending on your taste. The best dip is soy sauce with lemon.
