I went shoe shopping tonight, which is very, very rare for me. I actually bought 3 new pairs of shoes, which is more shoes than I have bought in the last 5 years combined, but they were for specific purposes. The best part, though, is that all 3 pairs were not only on clearance, but were also eligible for the store-wide sales! So they were marked down, plus an additional 40-50% off, depending on which colored sticker was on them. It's the only reason I even got the third pair because they ended up being a much more reasonable price and well within my range. These will likely last me several years, too, so I can't complain any!
