Clubs Exploitative?

    At a common club, sometime ago actually there was a 50% discount in drinks which made price a little more meaningful. Initial price a can of ordinary beer (example Heineken) was put at $14 before discount, outside the club it costs less than $2. Do you know what, they made it compulsory to buy two drinks before going in, which means you still going to pay all that same initial amount only that you getting more quantity. It never matter to the club whether you can finish the two drinks or not, it was like they were just after making profits.
    That leaves me with the question are clubs suppose to be places of exploitation?

    Yeah, I know what you mean. However, though, a club might use other promotions to help customers save money. For instance, they might have a Ladies Night or something. Nonetheless, does the savings from Ladies Night etc.. outweigh the high price they demand for drinks? Noting, of course, that you often cannot bring outside drinks into the bar.
