How often do you descale your kettle, shower head and washing machine? I like to do mine at least once a month, especially if the water is hard. Even if there is a water filter in the kettle, residue can slip through and can build up. I also descale taps to prevent built up and it's worth it sometimes leaving it on overnight. It keeps the appliances working more effectively and looks much cleaner too.
