This is further evidence that I'm evolving into the "Grumpy Old Man" (a guest popularized by Dana Carvey on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE's "WEEKEND UPDATE"): I don't really even care who won this year, except that myLog In dashboard (which is my browser-homepage)Log In. That, and--of course--I want us all to be sure we know whether the recording-industry has gone totally deaf (or--hopefully--not), their only means of perceiving the sound-world being 'which sounds cause the most money to flow into their pockets' Makes me wonder whether Academy members have to write-out their reason for voting on one work instead of another (like Supreme Court justices with their publically-available rulings), or it's just 'how they felt when the ballot came to them.'
