I have recently opted for a prime account which qualifies me for free delivery. Earlier also anything more than Rs. 500/- was free delivery. I do not buy from international sellers as far as possible. I recently ordered for something from China which again is free delivery.
Even if their prices are lower than most supermarkets, their products aren't really that high of a quality, and most of them break after a few usages.
