I'm against choosing clothes just because of the brand. I buy things in which I feel good and they suit me. I wouldn't buy any brand clothes which I don't like.
I'm a overall pretty cheap person. I use coupons, wait for sales and I don't unnecessarily spend. However, there are some things I do spend more money on. For example, I do splurge on certain brand name clothing items because they are made better and last longer. I don't buy cheap jeans either. I have pairs of jeans, shirts and sweaters that I have worn for the past 10 years that are still in style and in great shape. My other cheap clothing items don't hold up as nice and thus, I can't wear them for anywhere near that long. I also spend a little more money on a couple of beauty products that I use. Sometimes quality in an item is important - I just don't overdo it.
No I don't believe in buying and paying more for a brand because they are really no better than the item without the brand name. A lot of times the no brand item will last longer than the brand name. I wouldn't pay more because nine times out of ten you are not going to wear it that long anyway.
I have no interest in brands whatsoever. I'm all about style mixed with quality....and quite frankly, I find that some of the time that I *do* go with brand names, I'm not all that impressed with their quality. It seems you can get more for your money on less popular brands a good bit of the time. I don't see the point in paying 5x more for the same thing because it happens to come with free-advertising for some company.
I agree with this statement. A lot of things are exactly the same, if not better, if they're off-brand. But there are certain things that I don't trust or have had bad experiences with otherwise, so I just get the actual brand. Plus, well, I can never afford a lot of brand name clothes. I rarely buy myself clothes, so I'd rather be able to get more when I do.
Well, most brand conscious people do that, so I think that it's pretty common. If that's their thing, then they're free to buy whatever they want. As for me, I prefer to choose clothes based on whether they will suit me or not, and their style and design rather than the brand. I'm not really picky when it comes to clothes anyway, I wear branded and non branded ones.
I believe in purchasing branded clothes from online stores. But they must be good looking and suits on me otherwise I don't like to purchase such. If I found anything good looking and branded one. If its price is more than my budget then I am trying to search it on another online store as we can visit multiple online store at a time. Most of times I get the discounted coupons to purchase the items at reasonable price.
I like brand because these are reliable in quality .Although brands have less variety but they stay longer and comfortable. They can be costly but its a one time investment instead of buying apart from the brand. Log In
I will not pay more for a brand for the sake of the brand. I will pay more if the particular brand offers better quality. There are brands I like because I know they produce quality made in Italy or USA or Japan etc garments. The country of manufacture matters to me.
I agree people pay an arm and a leg just for a brand and let me tell ya some of these brands with these new styles that cost so much aren't cute they are actually really ugly i buy what fits what looks good and what's comfortable i could careless about the brand.
To me brands aren't important. In fact the price doesn't matter to me either. I buy my clothes based on how they look. If I like it then I'll buy it. I don't believe in paying for a brand but I'll spend on quality.
Paying more for just for an brand name is worthless. If you bought an expensive jeans and that is not fitting well. Then what will you do?
No, I do not buy branded clothing. I did when I was younger but they got stolen, so what is the use any way. Now, I buy clothing based on how it looks on me and the quality of the item. Like others on this thread, I do tend to look at brand when buying items like computers, mobile phones, televisions and dvd players etc.
I used to go for brands when I was younger. It's like a status especially if you buy famous brands. But then I started to realize that it's just the name I was paying for. When i started working and earning my own money, I make it a point that I spent it wisely. I would prefer a certain brand IF most of their clothes are what I like because of the style and the fitting. Other than that, I don't care about the brand. Yeah I know that they say that branded clothes are more durable than the cheap ones, but I found out it's not true most of the time. I bought branded clothes which easily tear off or destroyed only after a couple of washes, and it made me so mad as I have paid a lot for those. At least if it happened to cheap clothes I bought, I won't mind it that much as it's just cheap.
I do not buy brand name clothes. It is almost always more expensive. You can find other clothes made just as well. I buy what I can afford and what is modest.
No, I don't believe in paying more for a brand or product unless it is a coat or blazer. I love blazers and coats so I would like for them to last a lifetime when I make the purchase. If it is not one of the styles that I have mention then I will not pay more because of the brand. Clothing are make from clothing, and cloth can tear or rip which means they don't last a long time. I am not going to spend a fortune on something that doesn't last very long. I have had plenty of designer bags that have broken with the first three months of using them. I think it is a waste of money that have been spent on something more important.
I think it really depends because I would only buy brand name clothes if I actually truly love them and not buy them just because they have a tag that has a brand name. I personally don't buy simple t shirts and tank tops from brand names because I think it is a huge rip off for the same quality. On the other hand I would buy brand name clothes if the blouse has a design that I love and a design that is really unique.
