One time in Hongkong last month, there was this bulk sale of socks - 3 pairs for the price of 2. We were to take 5 packs for additional gifts this Christmas but my husband was wary because the customs people might charge us for the tax.There are talks here that the customs in our airport are so strict with the locals who go abroad on a tour, that's extortion. So what I did was to get only 2 packs that can be reasoned as 1 each for me and my husband.
