Every time go to Autocheap I look at the wide selection of auto care equipment such as special sponges, wipes, polishing creams, various types of protectors, etc. I hardly ever buy anything special for my car. I clean it with ordinary cleaning equipment from the supermarket and am not really bothered whether my car shines or not, as long as it takes me where I need to go. How about you?
My husband is very particular with the rims on our car. He buoght this special brush dedicated for cleaning rims. He says these are made from special natural fibers that will not scratch the surface of the rims. Unlike nylon which creates those tiny swirl marks that dims the shine of those chrome rims. I honestly don't see any difference but he swears by it.
No. My car is 7 years old. In the beginning, I pampered it through each wash. Now, I just drive through a Brown Bear. It's easy and inexpensive.
