I find out that there are items I get at a cheaper price in small local grocery stores than the big supermarkets. That got me thinking how come a small retail outlet could sell at a cheaper price than the mega stores. Another thing that baffled me there is this particular type of rice, though expensive, but very good quality and I can say it's the best I ever seen in the mean time. Here is my surprise I can only get this stuff at the local small supermarket, not available at the big stores I visited so far.
I usually just shop at the nearest Walmart because its also cheap, and that goes for thier organic products as well. The Wild Oats brand is usually cheaper at this store as well,as compared to the others that sell this brand. I have shopped at Whole Foods(whole paycheck they call it)and Trader Joe's as well, and like Trader Joe's the best, because its the cheaper of the two,and they have a great bargain wine section as well. Actually Whole Foods bought Wild Oats(was once a natural-foods chain)in 2007.
I don't have a favorite grocery store per se, but I tend to go more frequently to the nearest store rather than travel to the supermarket, where the lines can be quite long. Right now I go to Alfamart more often, since we have one near our place rather than go to SM Store.
