How useful is it to have a CCTV installed in The House? Does it really help in any way when there's a break in? I've been thinking about getting a camera installed inside the house, just wondering if it's any useful.
You would need to wire it to a computer that uploads everything to a dropbox offsite. If you don't they could just steal the camera and storage medium and you're out of luck...
Do you have one personally installed in your home? I have always wondered if the security camera at the malls upload everything to a dropbox offsite? And I really wonder if everyday someone watches all those footages to see if there was anyone shoplifting? I mean, if yes, then that's quite a lot of footage to watch!
Two months ago my neighbor installed a CCTV above his entrance door. he said it was because of the recent wave of robberies that were happening in our neighborhood. I think it is useful to have one outside and inside of your home. If you have one outside it will probably scare most of the potential robbers.
