I'd like to have my home cinema, but I can't afford it now. I love watching movies at the cinema, but what I don't like is tall people sitting in front of me. They destroy the experience. What do you think is it worth it buying your own home cinema?
Personally I wouldn't mind having a home cinema. I don't go to the movies often but when I do, I always go during periods where the theatre is almost empty. I'm talking about the first showing in the afternoon during the middle of the week. I hate movie crowds because there's always someone doing something annoying throughout the entire movie.
While I do not have an actual home theater, I'm very happy with my TV. A few months ago I bought a 60" Vizio LCD that looks really awesome. I got it at Costco also, so the warranty is extended! It really could use a sound system, though...
I'll probably buy a TV myself. They are getting really cheap. It's a more reasonable investment. Unless you're a millionaire a home cinema sounds like a too big of an investment
