Nope. I have to have it with cream and sugar. Coffee is more of a treat for me because after I add sugar and flavored creamer, the calorie count is probably 150. I also like carmel mochas. If its been a rough day, that's my pick me up.
I wish I liked it black. My dad drinks it like that and I don't see how he does. I've tried it and I need cream and sugar in mine if I drink it. I used to not like coffee at all but had a Starbucks frappuccino and it got me started on my path to liking it. I never have more than half of a cup a day (and in a smaller coffee cup) because I don't want to drink too much caffeine. I stopped drinking soda for health reasons including having caffeine.
I do not like black coffee, I like my coffee with cream and sugar. It tastes far better. I can't see how some one can drink just black coffee. I have tried it and it is disgusting, I can't drink coffee with out both cream and sugar.
I love my Coffee black. Though I can drink it with cream as well. I would just prefer it black though, enjoy the strong taste of it. The one thing you can't beat is the amazing smell of Coffee brewing!
I love coffee in any form; black or with milk. I've recently switched to drinking black coffee with sugar and I must say that I prefer it to the way it is normally made. Strong coffee really perks me up and makes the entire day seem better.
I really love black coffee but it has to be a good quality coffee to be able to tolerate drinking it black. I used to be addicted to flavored latte's but when I decided to lose weight and I was deciding where I could cut calories I decided I could still get my fix if I drank it black. It took awhile to get used to the bitterness but now after a couple years of drinking black coffee I can only have flavored or sweetened coffee in very small amounts without feeling sick.
I love black coffee if it's good quality coffee, but I usually add a little hit (teaspoon or so) of sugar to mine. It has been my experience that unless I went to the store, selected and bought the coffee beans, and ground them myself, straight black coffee is usually OK at best. If it's at a large gathering involving one of those dreadful metal urns, black coffee is almost undrinkable. Even with some doctoring, that coffee is still pretty horrible. Bottom line - and I think I read this in a previous post - if you have the chance to drink some really good straight black coffee on a few occasions, you will probably develop a taste for it. For me, it's no different than wine, beer, or spirits - if it's good, you'll like it and keep coming back.
it's hard for me to drink coffee just black i need to add cream and sugar to it . much better that way
I can drink it black, I can drink it thick as molasses with sugar, and I love to drink it with a splash (or four) of a very good spirit. I cannot drink it with milk because I don't like to encourage the leeching of calcium from my bones.
I cannot live without the cream and sugar in my coffee! Sometimes I try to be a bit strict with myself and not put cream in my coffee, but the thing is I won't finish the coffee because it doesn't satisfy my craving. I am a coffee lover and I won't give up the cream in it as well as the sugar. It's my simple way of giving myself a treat most of the times.
Organic or better quality (non commercial) coffee does taste better. I rarely drink it black. Either way, I like it with at least a little milk, I like to think it brings out the flavour. If I've had a bad day I'll have a sugar, but otherwise I tend to not have any sweeteners - just better for your health all round.
I'm trying to stop adding cream and sugar to my coffee. I had used artificial sweetener in the past. I'm trying to stay away from that. It's been a little harder than I thought to drink my coffee black. I've had better luck drinking Keurig coffee black. I still add some milk to the discount brands. I miss the vanilla flavored creamer, but I found some at Earth Fare that isn't too bad.
I don't like black coffee, either. I must have 1 cream and 1 sugar. And I use instant creamer, because milk or liquid creamer cools my coffee down. I like it super-hot! I think black coffee is an acquired taste.
It depends on my mood. If I really would like to wake myself up, I would opt for a pure brewed black coffee. I usually do this late at night when I still don't want to sleep. I would opt for a coffee with cream early mornings just to lighten up my mood early.
Without Cream and sweetener, its just not do-able. It may as well be cereal, but its the only way I can take it....and I love it by the way!
