I live in an island so most of the time the specie available in the market are from the sea from shrimp to tuna and to different kinds of crabs. Not to mention the sea weeds which are turned into paper like to cater Koreans and Japanese tourist in our area. Basically the tourist in our area are Koreans and Japanese and this is why restaurants offer their kind of menu.

The locals like me somehow adapt and we liked it.

I love eating seafood, especially shrimp, and fish, I just had fish a couple days ago, I also love crab too as well as imitation crab. I want to try lobster someday but I heard it is overpriced and doesn't taste good.

I'm not a big fan of seafood. However I love crabs and shrimp. I've tried crab soup but I haven't liked what I've tried so aside from whole or legs, I will eat crab cakes.
I've never had lobster so I can't say if I'd like it.

I do but it is so expensive, and the quality on it seems to vary quite a bit. For example, bags of shrimp are rather pricey most of the time at our grocery stores, but there are a few discount grocery stores that will sell bags of it uncooked and unpeeled for about a third of the cost. The problem is, most of the time when I get these, they smell really awful - almost like sewage. Not to mention, they shrink down quite dramatically. I've heard that some seafood manufacturers will soak their stuff in a solution to "plump" up the product and make it look larger and weigh more - which I suspect they are doing. If I pay extra and get the good stuff, it seldom smells, but the cheap stuff almost always reeks. Who knows what conditions they were raised in.

I wish. But I'm actually allergic to them. :-( The last time I had some prawns I was rushed to the hospital so never again.

I enjoy seafood! My favorite seafood would have to be snow crabs, lobster, salmon, and shrimp. I love shrimp the most and enjoy eating them many ways. I love steamed snow crabs seasoned with garlic. I just recently started eating lobster and is looking for new recipes on how to prepare it.

I LOVE seafood! By far the best thing to eat is sea food in my eyes and taste buds lol. I love lobster with pasta, I think I am addicted to that thing to be honest! A next thing I like is Lion Fish, it is a predator which eat other fishes in the sea and that gives it a whole different taste from other fishes. It has venom in it and if not prepared properly it can cause harm to you we eaten. So yeah, I LOVE seafood, can never eat too much!

Seafood is one of my favorite meals, even though it can be expensive. There is a casino close to where I live that has a buffet and seafood Sunday with unlimited crab legs which are awesome. If lobster and steak are offered as a combo on the menu, you can safely assume what I will be ordering.

Really? What allergic reaction did you suffer from for you to be rushed to the hospital? That must be serious...

I love seafood too, but I usually don't eat it at home because it's expensive and I don't know how to cook it. If I had more money I would bother to learn, but give my current situation I only eat it at my parents house.
