Do you make a roast joint of meat last for several meals?

There are six people in my house to feed so I have several ways of saving money and making sure there is no waste. One trick I use it to make a roast dinner and then use the leftover meat to make other meals. Usually, these are things like stews, curries, sandwiches or salads. I even use leftover stock to make soup with. Do other people do this and if so what do you make with your leftover meat?

Oh definitely! I do this with a lot of foods actually.

When it comes to roast, my main go-to variations are roast beef sandwiches for lunch the next day, beef stew for another dinner, or as part of a manhattan (served on top of bread and mashed potatoes with gravy).

I also make sure of the bones for stocks and then share with the dog after that so that no piece truly goes to waste!
