I have watched series on Youtube but I have never watched movies. Mostly because the quality is usually so poor. I like to watch my movies in HD so when I see blocky colors, it really annoys me. Movies also tend to be removed from Google pretty fast because it's illegal.
I use youtube at home on my blueray dvd player and at work to watch movies on my break, I like to use youtube becasue my movies play very well and I can almost find any movie on youtube, I learn a lot from youtube videos and tutorial as far as make up tips and alot of how to steps on anything I'm interested in learning
Well, if those movies are public domain then yes, otherwise no. It's actually illegal, because most of the time the person who uploads a full movie on youtube doesn't have the right to share it and that's why those movies get taken down so quickly.
The problem with YouTube movies is that they tend to be old. I normally visit torrent sites for new movies. IN most cases I use YouTube to watch the movie trailers not the movies themselves.
Yeah I watch some movies on YouTube, both what YouTube themselves put up and some of what users upload, though the quality of the latter can be iffy. But I would say that I don't watch too many movies on YouTube in general and watch most of my movies on Netflix.
I don't. Every time I look for a movie, it's always just a scam link or something. OR the movie is divided into parts, and it's a pain to try to find all of the parts. Some of them are usually missing, which is just my luck. I stick to Netflix, Vudu, Crackle, etc. for watching movies. I can just pull them up on my smart TV.
I only watch a movie on Youtube if it's not available easily from a different source. Often that is the case, there are a lot of movies on Youtube that are kind of rare and obscure. The problems with buffering and low quality are annoying but the frequent issues with the syncing of voices to video is a dealbreaker. Even if I wanted to watch movies on Youtube a lot, that issue makes it too inconvenient. I wonder how Netflix and Hulu are able to avoid syncing issues?
Honestly, I used to watch TV shows on YouTube, but back then, TV shows were broken into 3 parts, so 3 videos to watch. Now that technology is advancing, there are full length movies posted on YouTube. It's unfortunate for people in the film industry, but it's fortunate for people who don't want to spend on DVD's. There are so many illegal ways to get access to new albums and movies. I actually do so by torrent.
Yes, I pop in once in a while to watch some quick movies when I get bored. But mostly I watch documentaries there, which is great, kudos to the uploaders who took the time to edit out the commercials. The way I watch YT movies is when we are bored in class or work, we search for really bad movies and then we go watch it and just be wasted laughing. And yes, there are a lot of R-rated movies on YT, surprisingly some of them show nudity and explicit sex scene and YT still allows it. But I guess its just another market for the tubes.
Hmm; I thought I had posted on this thread already. But if I haven't then here I go. ... Sure I think Youtube is a great place to get some inexpensive quality entertainment. I have watched full movies on their before, but not often. I'm not much of an "entertainment" sort of guy, and I prefer to interact with others either in person or on forums like this one
I love to use youtube to watch movies. You can find alot old movies on youtube that you cant find in other places. I watch youtube movies on my kindle, cellphone, and my tablet . I even have youtube set on my blu ray dvd player to watch movies on my Tv
I've watched many shows on Youtube, especially QI which I think has every episode on Youtube, but I've never watched a movie, the quality is usually too low for that.
No I don't. I'll usually watch movies on Netflix or some similar streaming website. I love watching regular videos on Youtube, but I find it easier to watch movies on appropriate websites. Also, I usually pass whatever I'm watching to my TV to have a bigger screen, so I'm not sure how good of a quality a movie on Youtube would be!
I have watched movies on You-tube in the past, but now I just watch You-tube to hear about home jobs. It seems that the home jobs on You-tube are the most ligament in my opinion. I watch my movies on Netflix and cable.
I'm not a fan of youtube when it comes to streaming movies, actually now that i think of it I'm not a fan of streaming movies at all. I don't like the fact that some part of the whole movie experience is dependent on the internet. Sometimes my internet acts up so that's why streaming is a no no for me. I prefer downloading movies.
Interesting! I never knew about this until now! My husband does all our movies via torrents, I leave everything to him really. I'll have to ask him if he knows and what he thinks of it
I had no idea that movies were available on youtube. I guess I just never gave it any thought. You can bet I will be checking it out, though because at the moment I don't have a television and could use a bit of entertainment
I will use You Tube if I can't find the movie anywhere else like Netflix. You Tube seems to have it all, but I try to avoid it because it is kind of annoying with the commercials and the videos are often broken up.
Yes I use YouTube all the time to watch movies and there are so many to choose from. This site is completely awesome and I could stay on it all day to watch movies. One day when I take a little break from my work at home tasks I'll watch some entertaining movies all day long.
No, I don't care to watch awfully compressed rips of questionable origin. I really don't know why anyone would want to... it's not like the high quality versions are inaccessible or anything.
