I don't wash my car all that often. I vacuum it out once in a while and wipe down all the windows, and if it gets too dusty I simply run a garden hose over it. When the dirt gets too ingrained, I use an ordinary sponge and kitchen detergent to make it look good again. I have never paid anyone to clean my car except for the street people who clean windscreens at traffic intersections.

I usually wash the exterior of the car myself. I can usually get off all the dust and most of the dirt. I bought a power water pump last year to help me wash it. It's not too dirty since I usually only drive in the city. I also wax my car once in a while. However, I leave the interior cleaning to the professionals.
