On an episode of The Big Bang Theory, Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik) complains/reveals that Indiana Jones was "completely unnecessary to the story" of Lucas' & Spielberg's Raiders of the Lost ARK. Is that true? (I'm trying to look it up onLog In but it's taking a long time to load.) Does that ruin the story for you, or does it make it look more like "Professor Jones, Documentary Host of Adventure"?
