A lot of people I know like Dave Ramsey. Usually when someone become popular in the media, they're more of a figure head. Is Dave Ramsey legit. Or is his advice more just common sense and nothing really that great?
Dave Ramsey is legitimate. He expertly knows business and finance. He has set up a program or system to help people wisely manage their money. His main points are pay for things in cash and allocate your money for expenses and pay down your debt. It is common sense to some, but for others who were never taught how to budget and how to pay bills, it is a great resource. I have never purchased any of his books, but I have read one or two. My local library carries all of his books. I just checked them out there. I do know a handful of people who strictly enforce his program, and they love it.
