My dog has been driving me completely mad lately!! He is 8 months old, and just recently he learned to raise his leg to pee... I was happy when he didn't but being a male dog I knew this was bound to happen. However, nothing prepared me for how uncoordinated he would be when peeing with his leg up! Guys, he will make his front legs all wet whenever he returns from his potty area!! I don't know what to do about it! I can be mad at him because of it, if I do he will think he is peeing at the wrong place, and he is not!! I don't know how you can teach a dog to raise his leg properly! Can you do that?
Give him some time! Seriously, it's just like potty training a kid. With time, they get more coordinated and learn how to position their bodies better to avoid the wetness. He'll get the hang of it, too.
