Ok, so The Big Wedding had big names like Robert De Niro, Dianne Keaton, Robin Williams, and other recognizable names. But, with a plot so dumb, these big stars are not given a chance to shine. The story is so boring and uninteresting. I don't know which is worse though, Scary Movie 5 or this one. But one thing is for certain, don't watch it or you will regret it.
Yeah, from looking at the poster, you could really tell it has a high chance of being a generic filler movie in between blockbusters. It seems to be the trend with big name celebrities nowadays, it's like they don't need to care too much about the work they put out anymore since they're already established. People should really stop going to these types of movies so Hollywood would stop making them. Thanks for the heads up!
You're right. It seems like if s movie has a terrible plot, they would simply hire big name celebrities in order for it to sell. It turns out that some movies with Actors and actresses that are not that renown are the ones that keep viewers entertained. There's a tendency for a director and screen writers to slack off when working with big names because they know that people would flock to the movies to see them anyway. I hope that this trend would stop.
