Howdy everybody. I need a specific product. I'm breeding a colony of feeder insects popularly known as Dubia, and I require egg crate trays, as pictured. And I do require trays, not "sheets." Searching for it "sheets" will return "egg crate foam sheets," which is not what I need. I need cardboard-type egg crate material, for the roaches (whoops, I mean Dubia) to climb on, live in, and hide in. , It used to be that you put Dubia in a container with some kind of substrate like wood chips or coir, but it's quite hard to sift the poop (professionally called "frass" I believe) out from that, so egg crate is used. I've seen some more vulgar keepers use no substrate, no egg crate, but this is clearly cruel to the animals, and although they are feeder animals, it is still on the dealer's conscious and self-respect to keep them acceptably comfortable in the time prior to their use for our hobby. Does anybody have experience with buying these things online or from local dealers? Where have been your best experiences as a buyer?
