Basically this is a technology used on most e-book readers. It's great, gives you a much more pleasurable viewing experience compared to a regular screen and definitely makes reading much more easier in certain conditions such as sunlight. Obviously these devices are currently only used for e-books since the response time is slow and as far as I know, there are no colored versions available yet. So does anyone have a device like this? How does it compare to a regular screen? And most importantly, do you think it's worth the investment instead of just using your phone/tablet to read e-books?
Well I have been meaning to buy an e-book reader for myself. So, I have been researching a lot on e-readers, and most of the e-readers nowadays come in with an e-ink display. This display is said to have the most contrast of any type of display out there. I have personally seen a number of e-ink displays myself and I have to say that the one which impressed me the most was the one in Amazon's Kindle line of e-book readers. I would also like to add that it is a better experience to read on e-ink displays.
