Last mother's day I went with my mother to Catholic mass (having been away from the Catholic Church for ... only a few years, but it seems like an ETERNITY!) And I was confused at theLog In---I had learned it as 'The "We Believe",' but the prayer they said--though otherwise alike in most respects--was 'the "I Believe".' And I think this is wrong; I'm not going to church to learn 'what I believe' or to afffirm anything about me personally, but I'm there to co-affiirm the standard, shared beliefs of the community. But that's me ... what about you? Where do you come down on 'the personal pronoun'?
