Doesn't seem to be something people discuss much, people often talk about their favorite music or book genres but not usually movie genres so I thought it would be interesting to see what our favorites are. I tend to like fantasy and action/adventure genres the most.
Sci-fi. The ones with a good story and a somehow believable science... I want scifi movies to be INTELLIGENT and not just about the special effects. I haven't seen many good ones coming out lately, though I do want to see Gravity since I've heard good things about it. Some that I love: Pandorum, The Moon, Watchmen.
I would fantasy too, but I mostly love the movies where some mythology or philosophy is gently included. For example, I enjoyed 300, now I`m feverishly waiting for 300: Rise of an Empire. Too bad, Gladiator can`t be possibly continued or maybe somebody thinks of a sequel already
