Hey all i just want to about that which silk saree prefer most in 2017 there are many type of silk in the market like bhagalpuri silk, tussar silk, muga silk and more. Please post your favorite one silk saree here.
Wow! Silk sarees are my favorite! I like Kanjivarams and tussars, I own one Tussar silk saree, but my favorite is the Paithani silk. I already had one in maroon colour which my father bought for me during my wedding. I bought one in turquoise colour this May for my son's thread ceremony.
When we talk about silk sarees the first saree that comes to my mind is a Banarasi saree that comes in all ranges right from INR 1000 to 50,000 or more. I have a special liking for Mysore silk which gives you good quality in comparatively cheaper price. However, the most prestigious of them all are from Kanjivaram sarees although bit gaudy and out of fashion in North India.
@Anil Joshi how about your opinion on silk sarees? I mean which one do you prefer price and quality wise. I think we have a large variety of silk sarees in our country which ranges from high to low price. The best thing is that some silken brands look very costly even though they do not cost as high. I remember that silk sarees from Mysore cost very little but they appear very high priced.
