I've never read it nor do I particularly care to read it in the future. Especially not after I found out that it originally started as a Twilight fanfic. I read a page or so that someone quoted and my word, was the writing mediocre. I've read better erotica online and I could probably write it better,

It has a lot going for it actually in terms of marketing itself.
    1) It's a twilight fanfiction
    2) it is a romance/sex novel, It's like the equivalent of female porn. Just imagine how huge the male porn business is.
    3) it has a notorious dark taboo reputation now because of the BDSM twist. Something that's deviant and shouldn't be read always ends up being read.
    4) Everyone is talking about it, even celebrities. Doesn't matter that they are pointing the absurdity of it. They are still actively informing the public of its existence. Any publicity is good publicity.
So now it's a twilight related, notorious, romance novel that celebrities are making fun of... Of course its going to be huge. I mean my GF bought one for her friend as a gag gift. Think about what that means... people are actually just buying the book for the LOLS.
