The first thing I ever bought online was antivirus software. It was needed greatly because our PC had been infected. In my case, the antivirus was Norton. The first physical item I have ever bought online was a 15 Foot USB 2.0 Extension Cable from amazon. I had just began to earn money on the web when I needed an extension for my webcam. There were many complaints about the item, but I decided to risk it, stunned by the low price. The cable was essential because I still use my webcam to chat with family through Skype. The cord stretched 10 ft, but it was only needed for the distance from the back of my PC to the top edge of my HP monitor.
Wow. To be honest, I have no idea what the first thing that I bought online was. I have bought ALOT online within the last 3 or 4 years. If I were to guess what the first thing that I bought, I would guess that I bought something off of eBay (probably video games or a movie). Now, I buy everything from diapers to food online. I love buying online, as long as the shipping is a reasonable price. If the shipping is free, I am all over it!
First thing that I bought online is a membership account all about money making online. and after 2 months I had myself asking for a refund. hahah! I long to purchase a camera online. Those in amazon, newegg and ebay are really cheap compared to those being sold in the local market.
I don't remember the first thing I bought online. I do remember the first thing my mother bought online. I helped her to buy a pizza online because she wasn't feeling well and didn't want to go out to pick it up. She was very excited about the status bar, and was really happy when they knocked on her door shortly after the computer said they would. She was much more reliant on the internet after that.
The first thing that I ever purchased online was at Ebay. I was looking for a DVD that was very hard to find and I couldn't seem to find it at the malls, or around my neighborhood so I decided to search for it online. To my surprise I found just what I was looking for. It took me a couple of weeks to receive it and I was so excited when it finally came. Only to realize that it was a burned copy and not the original.
The only place I "buy" from online is eBay. They have some real great stuff at some real great prices. My girl friend kept hinting around that she wanted a new Vera Bradley bag, so I went to eBay and got one for real cheap. She loves it! I have gotten other things online as well. Including, gift cards (for cheap!), college textbooks, gifts for my girl friend, games, and other random stuff that I decide I want.
The first online purchase I ever made was for school books. I purchased them at Amazon and they cost substantially less than they would have at my college book store. To this day I turn to Amazon for all of my reading needs.
I rarely buy online but the first one I bought was a personalized shirt. I was kind of afraid at first since I'm not sure if the site was a scam or not but thankfully, I received it in good condition and I still wear the shirt up to this day.
The first thing I've ever bought off eBay was a set of Molotow paint markers. It was a great and spontaneous decision but they were really cheap so I couldn't really go wrong. I'll continue buying off eBay for a long, long time.
I don't honestly remember exactly what the first thing I bought online was, it was so many years ago, but I do remember where ---> Amazon.com. It's been my favorite online shopping site ever since and they didn't sell much beyond books in those days. And it was a book I bought, I just don't remember which one. Now that they're like a huge department store online it's even easier to buy from them, but I don't use them exclusively at all. Too many good shopping sites.
I think the first and only thing I bought online was a McDonald's happy meal. I'm not too fond of buying things online. I like shopping on my own - it serves as some sort of therapy and stress reliever for me.
First thing I bought online would be an Acekard 2.0 from DealExtreme. It was removed from their website though, but I still have the Acekard for my DS Lite up until this day. Sadly my Nintendo DS broke in half. I paid someone to order it for me and send it to my house so it was somewhat a hassle, but it was a memorable event since the time I actually got it, I played for hours on end. First thing I bought from Amazon Gift Card credit (out of my own money), would be a "Domo Christmas 5 Inch Plush Figure Wrapped in Bow", from Amazon for a friend for Christmas.
When my son was an infant and shopping in-store became more inconvenient, I bought almost all of his Christmas gifts online from Amazon that year. It was about 12 years ago. That is the first time I can remember shopping online, and I've been a hardcore online shopper ever since. I typically don't like going to stores to shop, and prefer online (if I can get free shipping).
Cellphone from Focalprice Same like Dealextreme! It looked like Iphone but with Windows Mobile! I only like the look of the Iphone but I hate the operatin system! The second thing was again phone but I don't remember the site!
The first thing I bought online was an airline ticket from London to Edinburgh (it was much cheaper that way). The second thing I bought was an e-book...and soon, many more e-books. Then I started buying arbitrary stuff that looked 'cute', oh well, what's a girl to do? The internet has great value.
The first thing I bought online, when I was still really skeptical about online shopping, was a national hip-hop CD (since I'm really involved as an artist myself on my country's hip-hop culture). I was pleasently surprised when I actually had the CD in my hands and after that I started buying more and more things online, hehe.
I believe my first online order was for flowers to send to a friend for her birthday. I remember wondering "just how safe" was my credit card and "will it get there in time" or "will it be just like the picture?" I think it was 1-800-Flowers but I am not sure. It is sort of scary when using a credit card online so I'm thinking of looking only for stores that accept Paypal for payments. It just seems safer that way.
I don't buy things online very often, but the first thing I bought online (I think) would be textbooks for my classes (from Amazon). I think that I may have bought my Dr. Dre studios online (from Bestbuy) at the same time.
