The first ever live streamed musical off Broadway is being shown today. It is Daddy Long Legs which was a first a novel and then became a famous movie starring a variety of actors but the most famous one being in 1955 with Fred Astaire. The plot line is a wealthy man anonymously pays for the college tuition of a French orphan. She calls him Daddy Long Legs and write letters to him although he never replies. Years later he visits her and they fall in love. As a tidbit, the actor and actress in this live stream are actually married in real life!
