Google earth pro was made free from January 2015 with all the enhancements mentioned in the post above. This means you can now print high resolution images of your neighbourhood for example or add high definition fly over videos to your movies. Loads of entertainment and educational content all for free, this is an amazing product.
I first downloaded Google Earth in 2013, the free version. I didn't use it that much. I tried all the features that are mentioned on the website, but I think there were features that were not working in Google Earth. Some features are specific for Google Earth Pro, and they are quite interesting ones. I'll try this one out and see if I could get them working.
