Hey guys, I was looking to upgrade my custom built gaming computer.

My GPU is a bit old now, so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what a good GPU is? I want to know your guys' preference on this.

I'm thinking about getting a Twin Frozr GTX 970. People have recommended it and the benchmarking is pretty decent. Those who have this GPU, what are your opinions on the card?

The GTX 970 is going to get you through most games on higher settings without a problem. It's a powerful GPU that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, which is why it's so popular among gamers. You could do a lot worse with a lesser GPU as far as I'm concerned.

I wouldn't bother with it. It's specs have been falsely advertised, and it turns out it doesn't even have 4GB of VRAM, among other problems. The benchmarks aren't that great as a result, and not having 4GB of VRAM isn't exactly futureproof. Get an R9 290 or something instead.
