I try not to set any expectations when it comes to gifts. Besides, you see rich people giving expensive gifts to compensate for their absence or neglect. Yet no matter how grand the gifts are, something's still missing. More than the gift itself, it's the intention behind the gift that is more important. The thing with handmade gifts is time and effort were spent to create them. So the sacrifice that went into those gifts makes them really special. I'd be more than happy to receive one.
