I have seen pans likes these before, and they are a healthier and more eco-friendly alternative to non-stick pans; but I have not seen reviews lately about pans made with stone coating like this one. Has anyone one bought and used a pan like Stone Earth Pan or a similar one? What your experience like when using a pan like this one?
I use a stoneware pan for baking (not sure if this is what you're talking about) and I love it. It is great for my homemade Italian bread, rolls, and pizza! You have to remember not to wash them with soap, though as the soap will get into the pores of the stone. I just submerge mine in hot water and wipe it off, then I put it back into the warm oven to dry. I wouldn't bake bread on anything else now. I guess I'm sold on it!
