There's a website called 8tracks.com that i use a lot. It lets you select types of music or feelings and listen to tunes based on that.
I didn't know there were websites out there like that, but thanks for the tip! If I'm listening to music on YouTube, I'll check out the little suggestions bar on the right and see if anything worthwhile is on there. I stumble on new music at the randomest of times though.
Soundcloud is packed with lots of new artists and great new music as well. I go there for inspiration and I do discover a lot of indie musicians who are really good. I'm sick of listening to mainstream music anyway. I love indie because they're more sincere about the art and not just about making money.
