I think most of us like going out on weekends, either with family or friends, and do what we enjoy most. On a Saturday night I like to visit a cinema or see some kind of performance with a friend, and afterwards go and eat something in a restaurant. I usually tend to spend around $25-$30 for this little luxury. Every couple of months I like to go on a road trip with my tent and stay at some camping ground. Those trips are usually around $300-$400 with everything included. I just need these regular breaks during the year. How about you?
Every Sunday my family and I will visit a big market in the city and buy what we need for the next week. Then we will go to our favourite restaurant for lunch and head to the closest beach for a walk. We usually try not to spend too much and we also take a bus ride because it costs much cheaper that way than getting a cab or driving on our own. We don't go over $100 which is what we target every time.
There have been times where I have found myself spending too much especially when going out to the movies. The price of a movie ticket plus the refreshments sold at the movie theater can be outright ridiculous. I was going to go to a movie a while back and go to a theater I usually don't go to and like alot of movies nowadays they slap on the "3-d" aspect to make an extra buck and the ticket was like 15 bucks and when you add in popcorn and a drink it's like please.... that's why now I go to another theater in my area where the tickets are only 6 dollars and if I want something to eat I go to the dollar store and pick up some snacks.
A typical night out for me is normally with a mate and we normally just hit a couple of pubs, I will spend around £50 (about $90) on a night out, that includes pints of beer (about £4-£4.50 a pint these days), bus/train travel and something to eat from the local kebab shop on the way home.
Err...well, due to what I do for a living, going out on the weekends is a huge excersion. So we can end up spending a few hundred pounds just to go to the cinema!
I usually just spend about below $50 and sometimes I'd maybe spend double that if I'm shopping, and if I get really carried away, I sometimes even spend a bit more than that, but when I do I tend to lay low for a while afterwards to make up for my previous above average spending. On a regular weekend when I don't shop or eat out too much, though, I'd usually only spend about $20 which is most often the case because there's honestly not that much to do here anyway.
A moderated amount should be spend going over the top isn't really sensibilities according to me, Most of the times when its about dealing with the statistics learning from how correctly it all moves ahead is what we need to be good at.
