Over the years, I would have to say that my water bill has consistently stayed around the ballpark of thirty dollars a month. We have never gone to great lengths to conserve, but I don't feel that we did much to waste our water either. Since moving to our new home, our water bill has more than doubled (last month we paid 70 bucks). The cost of water is a little higher, but not much. We also do slightly more laundry and water the outside more. Is that all it takes to make our water bill so high? The amount we pay each month just seems ridiculous to me. What do you all think is a reasonable amount of money to spend on water each month?
