Hi!! We are in the process of adopting a golden retriever puppy, well, yes we are paying for it. My reasons for buying a puppy is because we hope to train her to be a therapy dog. Yes, I did extensive research and talked at length to 2 references from the breeder and I checking to make sure it is NOT a pet mill!!!

Anyway, I've heard puppies can be taught to sit on command pretty quickly.

We were wondering if maybe we could ask the breeder to work with her on the sit command and if she did sit when we picked her up, we would pay a little extra.

    Would 25$ bucks be enough?

They have 4 kids, so maybe one of the kids would do it for some extra money????

I think $25 is a good enough amount for a "sit training", since it really seems easy to do. My dad seems to be able to teach our dogs how to do it, and even his brother was able to do it. And they have no dog training experience whatsoever. So maybe you can do it too.
