I only dine out when I go out with my family, usually during Sundays after hearing mass same as @xTinx. But sometimes we don't go out on Sundays so the average number of dining out for me is around 2-4 times a month. I'm more of a frugal person so I would usually wait until I get home to eat when I go out of the house on my own. I believe it is easier on the pocket to cook my food and eat at home rather than dining out. It's not bad though if once in awhile we treat ourselves with a good dine out experience.
That is true, you spend money when you dine out so the opposite means you save money when you don't dine out. We seldom dine out although we are not really scrimping. But on occasions like birthdays, it is our habit to dine in classy restaurants or in hotels. However, there are times when we bypass occasions particularly due to bad weather or bad timing (due to overtime work). In those cases then we had saved money.
These days? Never. I don't consider eating out a treat.. the food is unhealthy, it can be crowded, I'm expected to tip someone like they're a monkey doing tricks for me and the whole thing just isn't comfy for me. I'd rather go eat a picnic in nature and zone out lol.
We do not dine out much at all these days because we are saving up our money to buy a house. I have found that I can buy a few nice ingredients and make a good meal at home for cheaper than we can dining out. This way we do not have to worry about crowds or potential bad service. We dine out about once a month now and appreciate it much more than we used to. If I had my way and enough money, we would dine out a lot just so we could try out different foods, but that is just not in the cards right now.
It depends. When my husband has school, we don't go out until the weekends. But when he doesn't have school, we try to squeeze as many travels or dining outs as we can since he can be very busy with school. Though we're trying to change this habit now because we realised how much money we waste each time we go out, lol. But yeah, as my husband said, we shouldn't scrimp on food. Anything else we can scrimp on but not food!
Absolutely, I love to eat out. I do try to look for coupons and specials and things like that though. It is generally so expensive that is the way to do it. It is a way that you can get the valuable sorts of discounts you are looking for when eating out. Many people will find the options they ned when they eat out and if they want to eat healthily they can.
