I live in a drafty home as well, and being in the hot south, Summer electric bills can be budget killers. I do have my windows sealed with foam tape that a friend had leftover, and gave me for free. I use a draft dodger, especially at the front door, which is rarely opened anyway, so it doesn't get in the way. Last year, when I did my DIY Cat Scratcher renewal project, I bought extra sisal, so I used the leftovers to replace the broken clothesline out in the back yard. I'm going to experiment with using that this Summer, instead of using the dryer, to see if it makes a difference with the electric bill.
