I have one of those "evergreen tree looking" indoor plants. Should I plant it outside?

I have a 2 foot tall hibiscus tree. How many feet will it grow each year? I ordered this online and received it earlier this week. It's alive, perky and well. This is a potted indoor plant under plant lights. How fast will it grow? Thanks!!

I have never had one so I am not sure how big or fast it grows as an indoor plant. It sounds like a lovely plant. Here is a website with more information about hibiscus. There are links for additional information. I hope this helps you out.

I have seen hibiscus plants grown outside on the ground. They can grow up to more than six feet tall. However, they need support because they are not really that strong. There is a tendency for the branches to droop down to ground level.
