Holy crap, that's one heck of a deal! You really must be into couponing for that. Sure, you won't get any smiles by the cashier, but you'll end up saving up a lot of money!

I will say this, I don't do the whole extreme couponing thing only because its time consuming. Now I have shopped online for groceries and I was able to find so many food options that turned out to be cheaper, and last longer than the brands that I would purchase in the stores. Even in some cases, if you buy onlline for groceries, the people who you purchase from may even deliver them to your address.

I love using coupons in combination with store sales (love using

for this reason). But I am not dedicated enough nor have the time to dedicate to extreme couponing. It takes me a good 3 hours to cut out new coupons each Sunday, pull out expired ones from my huge 3" folder of coupons, sort out the new ones, go on thegrocerygame.com and print out my shopping list and pull the ones I'm going to use for that day's shopping trip. It's exhausting! lol

It is amazing to watch people do this on tv, though.

I don't do extreme couponing either because based on what I've seen on TV, the time it takes to collect and cut coupons and organize and sort is like having another full time job. What I do to save money is I go to Costco and buy in bulk. Any odds and ends I can't get there I buy at the local Family Dollar store or discount store. I also buy many things generic vs. name brand to save money too.
