If you own an older Chromebook that doesn't quite have enough power to handle your tasks, then consider using the swap function, which is found in Linux, which Chrome OS is based upon. Go to the command console, type "swap enable", and you'll get an additional 2 GB of zRAM, which kicks in when the system requires extra processing power. Some users will see a significant increase in performance while using 10+ tabs. You can create a SWAP partition of 2000, 4000, and 6000 GB, although performance will vary with each machine and swap size chosen. Try it out sometime!
