I think the problem with the iPhone is how Apple is basically in a fight with every other maker, everyone who uses Android is playing nice with each other and is out to get Apple. I guess having their own closed OS has it's advantages but in this case it's also a disadvantage.
It's also misleading when they compare the sales figures of "Android vs iPhone". That's comparing one manufacturer to every android manufacturer, and it gives the misleading figure that iPhones are way behind in sales now. The numbers of people who still buy and boost Apple products is crazy, even though I'm not sure why honestly. I upgraded my iPhone 5 to a Galaxy S5 and it's really staggering the difference.
I've been using an Android phone since day one and I don't get how people kept on telling jokes and saying that Android phones are superior than the iPhones. I mean sure they might be to some extent but it doesn't make any sense because both phones have almost the exact same function. I've used both iPhone and Android (Galaxy) and I can tell you that other than your usual OS differences, both phones are basically the same. But the only thing that I hate about Apple, actually no, I don't hate Apple but the fans, they're either too dumb or just too arrogant. I'm not saying all Apple fans are dumb or arrogant of course but some of you are just way too carried away. I have a friend who never stops parading his iPhone and claiming that it's so great to have this and that feature and treats it like the iPhone was first on everything when it's clear that the phone is almost outdated 2 years. If you're phone can make calls, texts and surf the web then it's a great phone. End of story. No need to joke or praise.
Except for the last part, that is me. I moreso have a love/hate relationship with my Iphone though. You're right it's mostly just the OS but that's a big difference to me. I find the Google play store utterly drab. I feel like Androids are okay for me with tablets but I would never get another Android phone again.
