Okay, all things being equal, which do you think is the better value when it comes to video games? I know that there are games that you can play completely free, without ever buying anything. I don't want to be behind everyone else though, so I'd end up having to spend at least some money. Do you think you're better off just doing a subscription or paying as you go, as the things you need come up? It seems to me that you'd end up spending more doing the latter, especially if you're someone that is prone to impulse buying. The shiny new thing would grab your attention and you'd just "have to" have it. What say you?
