It has the majority of the big retailers though, so chances are you won't find an item cheaper anywhere else. It would probably take a ton of time to google for better deals than that as well, I assume. So I think this may be the best way to find good prices.
I definitely agree that Amazon gives the best prices. For what I pay in a retail store, its at least 40% cheaper most of the times. Of course before you jump on board Amazon look around to see if there are any sales. One thing I noticed around Christmas time is that the Canadian Amazon tends to to sync their prices (or lower) with any of the promotions going on. For example, a barbie doll for my cousin was on sale at wal-mart for $19.99 and they had it for about $19.95.
