In my opinion, dying your hair is not bad for health if you use it appropriately. But it can be rough on your hair if you dye your hair frequently.

I read that it is not really that bad if you're not pregnant, but you may have to test first if you're allergic to it. When you buy hair dye, there will be a warning on the leaflet to test the product first on a part of your skin to see if it will produce an allergic reaction. My dad has been dyeing his hair for decades, and nothing bad has happened to him.

Coloring your hair will dry it out some and for someone like me that is a great thing! I have colored my hair all different colors all my life. I used all kinds of dyes, my hair will not take damage! I can dye my hair, decide I don't like it and dye it again the next day, no damage. it barely dries it out, not to the damaged point but to a good point!

Chemical dyes affect not just your hair in a negative way, but they also contain carcinogenic substances that get absorbed through your scalp. These days there are many great alternative hair dying products that contain natural ingredients. I have died my hair for years with a natural dye from the health food store. I find it very satisfying and never had any adverse effects. You can also find hairdressers who specialise in using natural hair dyes. If you don't dye your hair yourself, I would strongly recommend to visit one of them, as, apart from everything else, your hair will eventually get dry and thin from the chemical treatments.

I must say that there are more rumors than reality. But you must be using these products wisely. There are many safe hair colors available that are ammonia free & free from unsafe chemicals. I can’t comment specifically for pregnancy condition but hair color in long term are surely detrimental to hair. So you should take care well. Anyways hope my answer helped, for more similar

It isn't bad as long as you follow the safety precautions on the label. :) My hair is dyed, and I haven't experienced anything bad really.
